Those Ripples Build a Current

The Arts & Crafts Press

It's been 50 years since the famous speech given by Senator Robert F. Kennedy at University of Cape Town in South Africa. A his moving speech, Kennedy said
“Each time a man stands up for an ideal,
or acts to improve the lot of others,
or strikes out against injustice,
he sends forth a tiny ripple of hope,
and crossing each other
from a million different centers of energy
and daring those ripples build a current
which can sweep down the mightiest walls of
oppression and resistance."

Our hope for 2016 is very much summed up in this speech. To commemorate the new year, we made a new accordion-folded broadside/card that you can display on your desk or mail in an envelope as a gift to someone special. Made from hand-carved linoleum blocks and polymer blocks, on Rives BFK (100% cotton archival paper). 6.25" x 17" (unfolded size)
